Darwin's theory ran contrary to the dominant Religious theory and therefore the term 'scientific' was attached to the theory but there still was no actual science involved. All the 'Evidence' cited as proof of evolution can equally be explained by a common Designer refining His designs. One of the hallmarks of true science is the ability to replicate the results. No Replication ~ No Science.
