There's also a free Holy Bible iPad/iPhone app that allows you to keep multiple translations loaded, ESV included. It's really quick to look up verses, and easy to flip back and forth. I just take our iPad to church now instead of my bible. My "good" Study Bible is an NASB, my pastor mostly uses NKJV, but the associate pastors often use TEV. I really appreciate being able to cross reference several translations at once while just bringing one "book" with me.
I love the ESV. Its the most readable literal translation out there.
ReplyDeleteI agree it is very good.

ReplyDeleteBrrr,
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat the NASV!
iPad -- better than a laptop for Bible study? Let me know your thoughts. I need a good excuse to get one.
Thanks, Arctic-Man.
