Understatement of the Week: ""We don't go to many cases where the victim has been decapitated"

Illegal Immigrant rights protest in the US/Mex...Image via Wikipedia
This is enough to give illegal immigration a bad name. The article refers to the man in question as an undocumented immigrant -- a more innocuous-sounding term than illegal immigrant.  He just forgot his papers! I left them in the car!

The apparent perps dabbled in the occult.

The caught-and-accused has exercised his American right to remain silent.

Arizona has become a frontier state. As in lawless, needs-to-be-subdued. As in wild west like we used to see on TV westerns.

In order to subdue lawlessness, law with severe penalties needs to be imposed. Once lawlessness has been quashed, the state can afford to be squishy-nice on crime and criminals -- like in Canada, where, if you fight back, the law comes down on you and cuts a cute deal with the criminal -- see Rex Murphy from a few days ago.

Decapitation must mean something in the Mexican culture that is lost on us?

"... nothing intellectually compelling or challenging.. bald assertions coupled to superstition... woefully pathetic"
