The Supremes: Canadian guilty of sexual assault after piercing condoms

The Canadian justices are at it again.
OTTAWA (Reuters) - The Supreme Court of Canada on Friday upheld the sexual assault conviction of a Nova Scotia man for poking holes in his condoms before having consensual sex with his girlfriend in order to try to make her pregnant.
This means, of course, that if a woman stops taking her birth control to get pregnant and her husband/boyfriend/current one does not want any more kids, she is by definition guilty of sexual assault.

I await the court's back-tracking on that one.

I think you might be forgetting which person becomes pregnant in each case...

Anon1152. I've been waiting for you to weigh in. You suggested months back we each read a book. I have now got my DMin. I will be ready to read this summer! I think I was supposed to read something by Dawkins?

I'm sorry that I've been away for so long. I have been quite busy (and far from home).

Congratulations on your DMin! I would be interested to read your dissertation (or at least the intro and conclusion… I'm not sure I'd understand much).

And, yes, I did suggest a reverse book club of sorts. I think I was suggesting that you read "The Greatest Show on Earth" by Dawkins (a book about the evidence for evolution), and that I read some equivalent book that best represented your point of view. Any suggestions?

My suggestion I think would be Signature in the Cell (which I haven't read but will).

I posted my DMin at postedresearch.weebly.com. It is very readable. Yes, Intro and Conclusion would be appropriate. I would appreciate your comments on it.

I've found the website for Signature in the Cell.

I will see if I can acquire a copy of some sort.

I can't seem to find your thesis (or anything) on that website you sent….

Hmm. You don't see a heading on the right that says Plagiarism Research? When I click on it, the thesis comes up. It's all in one chunk though. I could post separate chapters, I think which would make it more accessible. If this doesn't work, I'll send you the whole thing via email.

I think I just found it. I'm not sure why I wasn't seeing it before.
