Global Warming Jumps The Shark

In a blogbit I published on April 29th, I suggested authorities blame the recent rash of shark attacks off the USA on global warming. I was throwing them crumbs.

Five days later, here it is, in the U.K. Observer, dated May 4, 2008:

Surge in fatal shark attacks blamed on global warming

...."Another contributory factor to the location of shark attacks could be global warming and rising sea temperatures. 'You'll find that some species will begin to appear in places they didn't in the past with some regularity,' he said."

You couldn't write fiction as good as this.

Could this be the moment when the global warming alarmists jumped the shark?
