Concerning the NYT/MSM "Fundamentalist Christian" Storyline...

The NYT was quick to characterize the Oslo murderer as a "fundamentalist Christian". Other media have followed suit. Atheist sites are beside themselves with self-congratulatory back-slapping.

I found this while trolling the internet: a comment in the New American. This guy does better than the un-inquisitive mainstream media:
1) 85% of Norway is officially "Christian" because every person born there is automatically registered as a member of the state church.
If he was such a Christian:
a) What church did he go to?
b) Who was his pastor?
c) How could he ignore everything Jesus Christ was sent to teach?
There is more evidence for him being a practicing Free Mason than a practicing Christian.

Yes in parts of Europe the 'church' acts as an arm of the government by keeping track of births and deaths. However such record keeping hardly makes those whose records are kept there Christian.

I was digging up the roots to my family tree some years ago and found my great great great grandfather's family records in the Lutheran church. The problem was that my great great great grandfather was a pacifist Baptist that made the same, Germany to Russia, migration as many Mennonites. I doubt that he ever set foot in a Lutheran Church other than possibly on business pertaining to the state.

Sad to say it but there are few Christians in Europe as their children have be mass indoctrinated in atheism. The Norwegian nutbar could likely defend Darwin, quote Neitzche and Marx, and likely owns and has read a copy of Mien Kampf. It is unlikely that he owns or ever read a Bible and certainly would have no understanding of the tenets of the Christian faith. If he has any interest in 'gods' it is likely that he would identify with Thor not Yahweh.
