This is a bit of a strawman. If you do a little research, you will see "Green" groups accross Canada fighting against waste-to-energy incinerators. Mostly because they do not represent a sustainable model for waste management or energy production. It is also partially because they are generally sold on a "PPP" models that guarantees a level of revenue to a private corporation secured with taxpayer's dollars.
