Psalm 12
New Living Translation (NLT)
1 Help, O Lord, for the godly are fast disappearing!
The faithful have vanished from the earth!
2 Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts.
3 May the Lord cut off their flattering lips
and silence their boastful tongues.
4 They say, “We will lie to our hearts’ content.
Our lips are our own—who can stop us?”
5 The Lord replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless,
and I have heard the groans of the poor.
Now I will rise up to rescue them,
as they have longed for me to do.”
6 The Lord’s promises are pure,
like silver refined in a furnace,
purified seven times over.
7 Therefore, Lord, we know you will protect the oppressed,
preserving them forever from this lying generation,
8 even though the wicked strut about,
and evil is praised throughout the land.
and I have heard the groans of the poor.
Now I will rise up to rescue them,
as they have longed for me to do.”
6 The Lord’s promises are pure,
like silver refined in a furnace,
purified seven times over.
7 Therefore, Lord, we know you will protect the oppressed,
preserving them forever from this lying generation,
8 even though the wicked strut about,
and evil is praised throughout the land.

I often note you Sunday Scriptural posts from the Psalms.
In light of the worldwide protesters from the widest range of demographics seeking viable wage jobs as companies are continually downsizing, the parttime paycheques aren't sustaining millions of citizens.
The onc percenters are in fact hoarding the wealth and don't realize that by creating viable wage jobs now, their businesses would be buttressed a hundred fold. They would be rebooting consumeris and not waiting another five years is the immediate thing to consider.
Keep up the good posts, because Scripture contains the answers to all human failures and dilemnas.
Hi Anon, Thank you for your comment.
Anon@ 1:21pm: I thank you for your post as well. I wouldn't go so far as to say that "Scripture contains the answers to ALL human failures and dilemmas". Though perhaps it can speak to all (or most?) human failures or dilemmas in some way.
Sometimes--not always, but sometimes--scripture tells us what's important. Paying attention to, and meeting the needs of, "the least of [our/his] brethren" is important (Matthew 25). As for Deuteronomy 25 (specifically verses 11-12)... I specifically asked my wife to ignore that, just in case. I hope that in doing so, I haven't condemned one or both of us to hell.
Deut. 25 is referring to the other man's genitals, not the husband of the wife.
Yes. But I was more concerned about my wife's hand being cut off.
OK. A very saintly attitude on your part.
