I'm in Narita, Japan and I'm groggy so this will be quick. I missed the debate but am catching up by video snippets.

First impression --

Joe Biden looked like he was playing himself on Saturday Night Live.  Will this be his "I can see Russia from my backyard" moment? Tune in Saturday Night...

First off I couldn't care less about Saturday Night Live. That show is way over rated.

Second Biden had a high hill to climb last night. He had to make up for his boss's dismal showing, Do well enough to bring up the polls and appear (vice) presidential.

In other words he had to knock one out of the park. In that he failed.

Sorry, but constant sarcastic smiles and calling opponents statements "malarkey" don't win debates especially when they are overused.

Biden interrupted Ryan about 90 times. Also I really found it disrespectful how Biden keep a huge smile on his face during the segments on Bengazi Libya and Iran.

A lot of cliches about GM and the rich. All those jobs wouldn't have been lost if GM had gone bankrupt - the company would have been refigured as there is still a market for GM cars. The subsidy mainly saved union people's jobs and pensions.

"... nothing intellectually compelling or challenging.. bald assertions coupled to superstition... woefully pathetic"
