Corporations Stadium: Do The Obamacare Waive!

Imagine a stadium filled with the leaders of American corporations. Now imagine a waive starting in a small corner until it ripples out and becomes a giant waive encompassing the stadium.

Now think of that giant waive as Obamacare waivers -- a sea of waivers flowing from end to end. Pity the saps who don't get in on it.

The US seems unhampered by notions of equal justice. The US playing field is populated with politically favored groups. In the Obama admin, it's Democrat-supporting unions and others. The Obama admin, by granting waivers to Obamacare -- which is supposed to be the "law of the land" -- has embraced the injustice of special-interest favoritism big-time.

"Redistributive justice for you, but not for me."

Would you have seen any articles with more details on these waivers? The Malkin article you link to doesn't mention them except for the title.

I've seen lots of accusations about these waivers, but little evidence that they are unfairly granted.

Well, there's this:

http://conservativehideout.com/2012/01/09/guess-who-got-the-most-obamacare-waivers-if-you-guessed-organized-labor-you-guessed-right/

The fact that unions -- Obama's constituency a) want out, and b) are being granted waivers doesn't pass the smell test.

It's kind of ironic that unions don't want to have anything to do with providing this.

I did do some looking into the matter on my own (by googling "Affordable care act waivers" and "obamacare waivers" and found some sources that said this is no big deal. There was apparently a Government Accountability Office audit that found no problems.

The above link has a link to the audit documents.

A Union explanation is found at this link:
