10 Scary Years and Counting...

This from Britain's The Independent:

"The point of no return will be reached within 10 years, the former vice president [Al Gore] says..."

I predict that within 10 years the world's understanding of climate change will be much better and different than it is today, and that there will be a lot of backtracking by scientists and politicians who "got it wrong".

The west is far more likely to perish from moral rot than climate change.

I must start a study on the ending of this world (as we know it!!).
Is it going to be a long drawn out time or "in the twinkling of an eye?"
My mind is slowing down, and this has been studied before by me, but I have to start all over almost.
So, thank you for jolting me time after time, to "think on these things."

I just looked at my comment and it doesn't make a lot of sense.
I do believe in the rapture and "in the twinkling of an eye."
I do not believe we should be sitting around just looking for Jesus to come.
I do have to study re what takes place with those who are left behind, morals and changes in the world.
I have a book, "Jesus is Coming," by W.E.B.,copyright 1898. I have never read it, it has such small print.
I have a feeing I must read it, so I will get started.
Thank you again,
Betty G

Hi Boopchile,

I thought your comment made fine sense. There's still a lot that is speculative. Assuming a literal milenial reign of Christ, what will it be like? How will a King reigning in righteousness work out in practice? Will the righteous ones have their glorified bodies, and be free from sin? Will there still be unregenerate (sinful) mortals on earth, with Christ reigning in Jerusalem? Will He delegate His authority to the saints?

I have all kinds of questions.
