The Vancouver Riots -- 100 Days On

It has been 100 days since the riot and no charges have been laid; police said on Thursday....

Too bad none of it was captured on video or something.

What an absolute embarrassment the Vancouver Police force is! Chu should be shown the door - immediately!!

Tut, tut. Slaps on the wrist take time my friend. First, they must be administered to just the right person, and then, administered just-so.

The Vancouver cops, like the Toronto cops, are too busy tasering seventeen year old kids in a fist-fight to have time to deal with such unimportant matters as arson and destruction of property.

Well Cameron was here, maybe they should have asked for tips on how they did it in the UK.

The mayor of Vancouver is every bit as responsible, if not more, than the cops, and I do not mean the cops should not be held accountable. With this kind of performance they can expect more riots, since rewarding bad behaviour always results in more of the same.

The role of police is to keep law and order, not to issue traffic tickets, by-laws and all things which have nothing to do with criminal activity. Yet we have over time allowed this to happen and we pay the price by crime being pretty much left alone by the cops.
