Reproductive Freedom's Shining [Hoax] Moment [updated]

Update: It was a HOAX.

Like many modern art projects, this appears to be nothing more than an egotistical "artist" seeking to draw attention to herself. The art itself, like many if not most modern "art" projects, is utterly without merit.

Here's a story Drudge is covering today.

Art major Aliza Shvarts has taken the enshrined right-to-control-my-body mantra to new, dizzying heights.

For nine months she has artifically inseminated herself, gotten pregrant, and then induced miscarriages.

She has made an art project of it all, featuring video recordings and collections of blood.

We are wading in the depths of human degradation here, folks.

And those on the left can have nothing to say against it. They have already stated that a woman has the unqualified right to "control her body". So, there can be no moral objection to this life-destroying, self-destructive, soul-destroying behaviour.

It was for such degradation, and worse, that Jesus came to bear the sins of many (he didn't just come to save the "respectable" from their sins.) If the world was ever to wake up and agree that it needs a saviour, there is only one.

His name is Jesus. Saviour of the world. Light of the world.

We need him now.

Jesu, mercy.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Plenty of people believe that abortion needs to remain legal in order to protect the health and rights of women, but at the same time, find abortion morally objectionable.

As someone who is adamantly for keeping abortion legal, I find this horrifying and sickening.

Why? is an excellent question.

Drudge is also saying it is a hoax. You can't believe anything anymore. This is once I am glad to hear it isn't true.

What finally got me thinking it was a hoax was the idea that young men would willingly collude with this woman knowing that the children produced would be aborted. It struck me as improbable that you would find both a woman and a man willing to conceive a child in order to kill it.

Still, what I wrote stands -- the secularists who say a woman has a right to control her body haven't a leg to stand on when it comes to criticizing this woman.

"... nothing intellectually compelling or challenging.. bald assertions coupled to superstition... woefully pathetic"
