More than 50 flights at the world-famous O'Hare International Airport were cancelled today due to snow.
Total snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches is expected before the storm is over.
The Illinois Department of Transportation provided the following handy tips to motorists:
-- Don't crowd snow plows
-- Watch for black ice
-- Dress warmly
-- Always carry an emergency car care kit
-- Carry a cell phone
-- If the weather takes a turn, invoke the name "Al Gore"
-- Buy a plug-in seat warmer for your tush
-- Chant "The Climate is Changing, the Climate is Changing" and/or "The Globe is Warming, the Globe is Warming"
Global warming fundamentalists claim this unexpected snowfall is the work of the Antigore.

What is global warming to you? Why do you believe it's not happening?
It's highly, highly politicized; it's based on dubious science. The link between human activity and global warming is tenuous and unquantified, probably unquantifiable. I do not believe that western economies should be ham-strung by global warming alarmism.
I believe we run a serious risk of global cooling in the next decade -- driven by the Sun's activities, not human.
Nor do I believe we should be guilt-ridden because we have created a prosperous life for ourselves. Here's a radical idea: I believe that the Lord put the oil in the ground for us to discover and use. I believe that pollution is bad and should be curtailed. However, C02 is not a pollutant. It is a natural part of the cycle of life.
The globe has always been cooling and warming. Who's to say what the temperature "should be"? There have been times when the earth was warmer, much warmer, and there have been times when it is cooler.
It is a presumption to assume that humans are responsible for any global warming that is taking place, and arrogant beyond words to believe that we can "control the climate" and "prevent warming" or "prevent global warming".
