Prince Charles: Defender of (the) Faith

Like Remembrance Day Canada 2008, in which we no longer remember the sacrifice made on our behalf but rather certain human rights "milestones", the Prince, in the great left-wing liberal tradition, is re-defining historic realities and recreating them in his own revisionist left-wing liberal image.

As a Defender of the Faith, the Prince would have defended a particular Something -- a Something that is now under attack both from without, and, more particularly, from within. As the defender of Faith (which will no doubt be expanded to include non-faith) he defends an ill-defined nothing-in-particular.

God save the Queen.

Actually the "defender of the faith" as he is held out to the "commoners" to be seems to spend a great deal of his time defending the "wonders of Islam" or is it just me? He is 60 and looking for his "second job" his first was to produce an "heir and a spare" A right Royal pain in the ass if you ask me.
cheers Bubba

Charles is a big disappointment. To me he is a whiney, self-absorbed dimwit. As for the equally vacuous woman he wants to make queen when he becomes king, (God forbid) I prefer the Tudor description of such an immoral person as 'the Protestant wh@r@.'
Not unlike his great uncle, the cerebrally-challenged, narcissistic, Nazi-admiring Edward VIII, he seems to be remarkably lacking in common sense, and shares the not only his appalling taste in women, but also the inability to put his own people first. Also, Charles discards with contempt his title 'Defender of the Faith' saying fatuously, I want to be know as a defender of faith. He plans on change the wording on becoming King. Moron.

Elizabeth II has been a good queen keeping her vows and being a credit to her position in life. Long live the Queen!

Having parsed your comment very carefully, looking for the nuances and shades of subtlety, I'm going to put that down as a vote of non-confidence in the Prince!

Whenever I think of Prince Chuckles, my invariable reaction is... long live the Queen.

"... nothing intellectually compelling or challenging.. bald assertions coupled to superstition... woefully pathetic"
