Conspiracy Theories: Did Muntadhar al-Zaidi Act Alone??

The wacky, loveable, irrepressible Iraqi Journalist-Shoe-Thrower received his Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free card today, and is a free man.

But this leaves some troubling questions. Was it really possible for Muntadhar al-Zeidi to get off two good throws in under three seconds? Does not the trajectory of the second shoe, which allegedly first hit Bush, changed direction and speed, and then hit another official at the podium, constitute a "magic shoe"? And, what about reports of mischievous goings-on by one on the Iraqis who was spotted standing on a colleague, described as a "glassy troll"?

Yes, my fellow conspiracy-theorists, the evidence is conclusive. The Muslim hero Muntadhar al-Zeidi did not act alone. There was a second shoe-ter.

And that's the way the tongue-in-cheek Ball bounces.
