UN Rejects Canada: The World Doesn't Love Us; It Really, Really Doesn't Love Us

The Humiliation of Emperor Valerian by Shapur,...                                      Image via Wikipedia
Quebec used to have the corner on humiliation. They were always being humiliated over one thing or another -- receiving more federal handouts than all the rest of us combined, the odd sign still written in English, that sort of thing.

Now the Quebec disease has spread to Canada.

The latest Maclean's poll on Canada's failure to procure some position or other at the U.N.:

It's humiliating and proves we're headed in the wrong direction. 41.82%

41.82% of Canadians think it's humiliating? Humiliating?? Being passed over by the U.N. is humiliating??  Isn't it more like a badge of honour?

Where's Canada's Rex Murphy when we need him? Oh yeah, right here.  <---- click for your RexFix™

A full 41.82% of Canadians are so insecure, so in need of external affirmation, they find rejection by the dis-functional, corrupt, impotent UN humiliating.

I find that  humiliating.

And that's the way the Ball bounces.

The Maple Leafs not winning the cup in over 40 years -- now that's  humiliating.

A Bloc member just said in QP that it is our treatment of Khdar that lost us the seat. So, blame the liberals, they were govt when he was arrested as a poor child soldier.

"... nothing intellectually compelling or challenging.. bald assertions coupled to superstition... woefully pathetic"
