Comment Moderation Has Been Turned On

Due to recent intemperate language I have turned Comment moderation on. Actions have consequences.

And that's the way the Ball bounces.

You gotta do what you gotta do. I would suggest that is the fundamental truth missing in today's permissive, self-esteem obsessed, entitlement society. Actions have consequences.

I was wondering how long it would take.

Lately all RK_ball has done is put up post after post of fallacies (nothing new there) - but it's been a one sided beat down ever since xn (and P@J) have been commenting so much.

Really - I was wondering why Ball would subject himself to such ridicule. His points are so easily refuted - and half the time he doesn't bother to argue back. It's like he's given up and doesn't mind his blog being an example to the lack of foundation his faith is built on.

(Watching Joe struggle is kinda fun though... poor guy.)

Ah well - moderation will keep the intelligent comments out... and this will make your blog REALLY boring. Good luck getting hits now...

I am reserving the right to weed-out ad hominems that do not add to the topic being discussed. It's up to you. Free-will and all that.

Rick, you missed one:

Joe's "Well xn hrfn woa what would you call a know nothing, done nothing who continues to spout his nonsense directed at those who have done something and do know something except arrogance?" on the "Quote of the Day: "Often as Arrogant as They Are Ignorant"" thread.

For that matter that "quote of the Day" is itself simply an ad hominem.

"... nothing intellectually compelling or challenging.. bald assertions coupled to superstition... woefully pathetic"
