BallBounces Poll: Elizabeth May or Gilles Duceppe in the Debates?

Gilles Duceppe, the Leader of the Bloc Québécois.                                        Image via Wikipedia
There's still time to vote in the latest Ball Bounces poll.

I am interested in hearing what you think about this. If it had to be one or the other, who do you think should be in the federal debates -- the leader of the Green Party (which has federal aspirations and seeks to be a national party) or the leader of the Bloc Quebecois (which seeks to represent one region only).

You should also have "None of the above" to make it a fair.

Hi Rob, I thought about that, but I wanted people who participated to be forced to chose one or the other.

Thanks.

I think May shouldn't be in the debates...independants arn't in it so why should she be? Duceppe is more like a provincial party so he shouldn't be in the all Canada Federal debate.I really think it should be the Conservatives, Liberals and NDP...thats it.If the other parties want to be in debates let them arrange their own.

OK, looks like I should have included the "Neither" option. BUT, I wanted people to indicate, if one of them had to be included, which one. That is the intent of this poll.

The poll is skewed. If you're going to have the Fringe parties in there, put them all in and we can then say "None of the above".

Yeah, yeah, I know it's your poll and your site. Thanks for being involved.

Well, not quite. Both Duceppe and May have been in past debates; this time May was excluded.

I did choose Dizzy Lizzy(under protest) As for Duccette not only should he NOT be in the debate quebec should be voted out of confederation. We(Canada) can't afford the freeloading and the continuous disruption they cause with their 'distinct society BS

Conservatives & Liberal..That is it..Then there is no way to gang up on one party leader. If the NDP want a 1 on one they can request it.

RkBall,
You're right. Elizabeth did attend one debate as a sleazy ousted Liebral scurried over to the Greens for a seat and she sleazed in...and the debate was not better for it.

Like others I would have chosen neither, but since I had to choose I answered dizzy Lizzy for the simple reason that at least the Green Party is a national party. The Bloc is a provincial party and should not be included, and in fact should never have been allowed to sit in Parliament. Why in heaven's name include a party for which no one outside one single province could vote for, or that could never ever hope to form a government?
