Canadian Union of Postal Workers "Keeps Its Options Open"

Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) "Keeps Its Options Open"

I would like Canadians to have some options in this that we could keep open -- like de-certifying the union, firing all its employees, and starting over.

Am I the only Canadian who is sick and tired of big public service unions holding us up for ransom?

Totally agree with you. Unions are a thing of the past and have no value except to hold taxpayers hostage to their ridiculous demands.

A friend of mine works for the post office. She answers the phone and makes almost $30/hr. No way she deserves that, but she thinks it is totally fair. I asked her if McDonalds' workers should be unionized and she said "no, that would be dumb, because then the food would be really expensive." Sigh.

Priceless.

Hello, hello, anybody home?!

Maybe that's why the price of stamps keep going up every January...now they don't even put the cost of the stamp on the stamp...saves printing new stamps with the new price. Funny how the price goes up and service goes down....something wrong with this picture that's for sure.
